Mindmaps used in designing antonyms exercises for grade-5 students’ ability development

Abstract
Teaching synonyms and antonyms plays a very important role in the general elementary education program, especially grade-5 in both the 2006 and 2018 programs. Surveying content structures of theoretical lessons and exercises on synonyms and antonyms in Vietnamese textbooks for grade 5, 2006 and 2018 programs, the article focuses on designing teaching exercises. Learning synonyms and antonyms for 5th-grade students towards developing capacity using mind maps. These exercises will contribute to improving students' ability to receive and remember knowledge of synonyms and antonyms.
