Current development of primary school management staff under principal standards in Tra On district, Vinh Long province

Abstract
Under the general education program in 2018 in Vietnam, it is essential to train and foster a contingent of managers of educational institutions with sufficient knowledge and problem-solving skills in current educational practice. The team of education administrators at all levels in general and the management staff of primary schools in particular are the ones who directly lead, direct and administer all activities of the school, be a decisive factor for innovation and the quality of education and training. Managers directly affects the quality of school education results. Therefore, this study is to learn, analyze and evaluate the current development of primary school administrators in Tra On district, Vinh Long province, by surveying 360 subjects, including 146 managers; 214 teachers, based on a 4-level likert scale. The research results have shown that the concerned task in this area still has many inadequacies for improvement.
