Abstract

School psychological counseling plays an important role in supporting the holistic development of lower secondary school students, particularly in the context of current educational reform. This study examined the current management of school psychological counseling activities for students at lower secondary schools in Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province. Methods used were questionnaire-based surveys, interviews, and statistical analysis to collect and process research data. The findings indicate that the management under discussion has been implemented at a fairly good level; however, limitations remain in terms of specialized personnel, facilities, professional training, and coordination among educational stakeholders. On this basis, the study provides practical evidence to enhance the effectiveness of managing school psychological counseling activities, meeting the current requirements for psychological care and support for students in schools.
