Current situation of managing experiential learning activities for primary school students in Phuoc Thanh Commune, Tay Ninh Province

Abstract
This study assesses the current state of managing experiential learning activities for students in six primary schools in Phuoc Thanh commune, Tay Ninh province. Surveying 100 administrators and teachers via questionnaires and in-depth interviews, the study clarifies the actual situation of educational management in the locality. The research results indicate that the management of experiential learning activities has achieved positive changes; all four stages planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation achieved a "good" rating. The schools have closely followed the objectives of the 2018 General Education Program, diversified organizational forms, and received direct guidance from the school administration. However, some limitations are identified, such as insufficient detail in resource planning, guidance that doesn't truly inspire teachers' initiative and creativity, and difficulties in assessment and evaluation focused on developing competencies and qualities due to a lack of unified criteria. These are caused by a reluctance to embrace innovation, limitations in organizational capacity among some teachers, and difficulties in mobilizing social resources at the local level. Thereby, the research provides important practical grounds for educational institutions to propose appropriate management measures, contributing to improving the overall quality of education for students.
