Mining knowledge from visual media in teaching natural - social subjects in elementary schools

Abstract
Encouraging students’ active engagement in learning activities to build and develop their qualities and competences is the current educational orientation. In general, in delivering lessons of Natural - Social subjects, teaching media, in which visual media is a source of information and knowledge, plays an important role in understanding and constructing knowledge. Therefore, using visual means such as pictures, diagrams, diagrams, charts, etc. to guide students to exploit and discover knowledge from learning objects in the sequence of scientific and rigorous operations, brings high efficiency in teaching Natural - Social subjects in primary schools. At the same time, these learning activities will contribute to the formation and development of students' academic qualities and competences.
