Developing specific competencies for Primary-School students in Science teaching

Abstract
Upon the current trend of educational innovation, an advanced science curriculum requires learners not only to have knowledge and skills, but also a positive attitude and interest in learning the subject. Together with the development of global education, the K-12 education aims Science education in Primary Schools at developing learners’ qualities and competencies. This paper systematizes the specific competencies of primary school students in Science subject and suggests some measures to develop these specific competencies for them in teaching the subject.
