Using authentic materials to develop students’ knowledge in teaching natural topics of third-grade socio-natural subject

Abstract
Third-grade socio-natural subject in general and natural topics in particular includes many important contents, selected scientifically and compatible with students' cognitive abilities, ensuring the school’s training objectives. No matter what teaching method is used by teachers, it must take full advantage of various authentic materials to develop students’ knowledge. This paper proposes a number of measures to use authentic materials in teaching natural topics of 3rd-grade Socio-Natural subject, as such to explore knowledge in the manner of developing students' cognitive competencies.
